Firefighters from Harlem's Ladder 30, conducted a daring rope rescue at a High-Rise fire on September 1st, 2020 at Manhattan box 1562 for the address of Lenox Avenue and West 135th Street just before 1:30 p.m. Firefighter Brian Quinn stayed at the window and tried to calm her down and told her not to jump and the FDNY would come and rescue her. The woman was treated for smoke inhalation and the fire was under control just after 2 p.m.
